What an incredible job they have done renovating this property! Cozy, beautiful and the attention to detail is extraordinary.

The main course was a hit as well. Each getting a different dish and all equally happy with our choices. I loved the vegetable napoleon. The sauce was lick-your-plate-worthy.

Beautiful new resort, grounds are very well kept. Seems like a great place for a weekend getaway or a special event like a wedding. There's a huge tent on the grounds that could support a large outdoor event. The restaurant has a great patio that overlooks the back grounds and creek. Very pretty. Great place to go for happy hour or even dinner.

Dinner was delicious. Again, detail a focus. We each ordered and shared appetizers. The watermelon salad was outstanding. Loved the hush puppies and the eggplant fries too. Loving the pretzel bites served before dinner arrives!

The Chef does an outstanding job of creating farm to table dishes. He also caters to special dietary needs.the wine list is extensive and has very good selections. They have a variety of signature cocktails. The ambiance is wonderful and relaxing. There isn't anything I don't like about this place. Take someone you love for a special dinner.

Desserts were yummy and our waitress, Jennifer was friendly and attentive.

We will definitely be back!!

I was part of a party of six. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before dinner and received great service and perfect cocktails in the dimly-lit cozy bar.

My company had our Christmas Lunch party at The Barn restaurant on the resort. The place was absolutely beautiful!! It was decorated in a lovely rustic Christmas theme. The food was delicious as well; except the chicken was dry like it had been sitting on warm for a while. Otherwise the mashed potatoes were amazing as well as the desserts, particularly the sticky buns. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.

I feel a little bad to rate the Allenberry based on my last visit, because my dinner prior had been very nice. Attending for a catered holiday party was distinctly different, from service to menu. It was not good. The accommodations are quite good looking. I'd recommend, though, that they visit a catered event at a place like Liberty Forge, where it's clear that there is real catering experience. Overall, I'd visit again for drinks and a quick bite but probably nothing more.
